A Rack Supported Warehouse is a highly engineered structure in which the racking system itself forms the primary structural framework of the building — supporting the roof, walls and the stored loads. 

Unlike traditional warehouses where the building structure is built first and then racks are installed inside, in rack supported warehouses the racks are erected first, then the building envelope and roof are attached. 

This approach enables ultra-high-bay storage (often 30m-45m+ in height) and extremely high storage density, making it ideal for locations where floor space is costly or limited.
